Much of the food at The Cheese Corner is imported. There are fine cheeses from all over the world. Customer favorites include a cheddar and cream cheese whirl; gouda with walnuts; and Leyden, a Dutch cheese with a spicy flavor that goes well with dark bread. Another favorite is Five Counties, an English cheese that is a mellow and tangy blend of five different types of cheddar. It is a truly remarkable cheese that is "pretty to look at but even nicer to eat," says Cheese Corner owner Charlotte Toombs.
